## About the Role

* High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience preferred., * 4+ years of experience in IT, specializing in network infrastructure or server infrastructure
 * Proficiency with Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama, SD-WAN router hardware
 * Familiarity with HPE Aruba AOS/CX switch hardware, Aruba and Juniper hardware
 * Knowledge of Aruba ClearPass is a plus
 * Prior experience in medium to large WAN/LAN environments
 * Experience supporting Windows Server operating systems and hardware is advantageous
 * Ability to sit for extended periods working on a computer
 * Occasional lifting or pulling of 35-80 pounds
 * Comfortable climbing and working from ladders

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

 * Certifications such as ITIL, PCNSA, CompTIA Network+, and CCNA are desirable

## Description

POSITION OVERVIEW: As an IT Network Admin at LJA in our IT department, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, documenting, and monitoring network systems and services under general supervision., * Working collaboratively in a team environment to administer and set up local and remote network equipment, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points, and servers

 * Monitoring network equipment and systems performance, ensuring optimal Wi-Fi coverage
 * Providing escalated support for networking issues and troubleshoot problems effectively
 * Performing hands-on installation of equipment and conduct necessary break/fix tasks as required
 * Traveling to remote sites occasionally for onsite support or equipment setup
 * Participating in after-hours work as needed, schedule on call rotation as well as the scheduled monthly maintenance work
