## About the Role

* Proven experience in a similar IT support or technical helpdesk role.
 * Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 suite.
 * Practical experience with remote desktop applications and IT helpdesk ticketing systems.
 * Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting.
 * Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
 * A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
 * A keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing a high-quality support service.
 * (Desirable) Relevant industry certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

## Description

* Provide first and second-line technical support to our employees for all hardware, software, and network-related issues.
 * Respond to, diagnose, and resolve IT support requests in a timely and professional manner via email, telephone, and remote support tools.
 * Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, and associated applications.
 * Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various platforms, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems, escalating more complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
 * Meticulously document all support activities, solutions, and procedures within our IT helpdesk system.
 * Assist with the IT setup and onboarding of new employees, ensuring they have the necessary equipment and system access from day one.
 * Contribute to the maintenance of IT security protocols and best practices throughout the organisation to safeguard company data.
