## About the Role

* Degree-level qualification in IT (or related discipline), or equivalent experience.

 * Experience in cyber security testing, penetration testing, attack simulation or adversary emulation.
\n

 * Experience gathering, analysing and interpreting technical security information.
\n

 * Knowledge of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, CTEM, DAST, WAF/DDoS, Entra ID, IPS/IDS, PKI or SASE.
\n

 * Experience using security testing techniques, frameworks and methodologies.
\n

 * Scripting capability in Python, PowerShell, Shell, SQL, Perl or similar.
\n

 * Experience mapping attacker behaviour and conducting threat analysis.
\n

 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n

 * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
\n

 * The ability to produce clear technical reports and actionable recommendations.
\n

## Description

Help build a new cyber security capability from the ground up. HM Land Registry (HMLR) is building a new Red Team capability to strengthen the cyber resilience of one of the UK's most important services. Inspire People is partnering with HMLR to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Specialist - Red Team Operator. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a newly established function, influence how Red Teaming evolves within HMLR and play a key role in protecting one of the UK's largest digital property registers. £48,400 - £59,300 plus 28.97% Civil Service pension. Plymouth (minimum 60% office attendance across the month.
