Working closely with the Region Line Manager, field crews, and engineering teams, you'll help ensure our members receive safe, dependable electric service every day. In this role, you will: * Support the planning and coordination of regional line operations. * Provide engineering support for distribution system improvements and new construction. * Analyze power quality and system reliability while helping develop solutions. * Coordinate work with internal crews, contractors, and Distribution Designers. * Assist with safety initiatives, audits, investigations, and employee training. * Review engineering reports and recommend improvements to system performance. * Utilize Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) data to improve reliability. * Prepare switching procedures and support emergency restoration efforts. * Collaborate with System Engineering to implement projects that improve our electrical system. * Help deliver outstanding service to our members by supporting safe, efficient operations. Work Environment * This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position based in our Yadkin River Region. Occasional remote work opportunities are available. * Because our members rely on us around the clock, this position participates in emergency response efforts and engineering on-call rotations. Candidates must be available to respond during storms and other emergency situations. Residency Requirement: Employees in this operational role must establish and maintain a residence within a 25-mile radius of their assigned regional office.
