This role lives and dies by clean pipeline data. * Sharp written communication; you can write a cold email that gets opened and answered. * Resourcefulness: comfortable researching a district's funding situation and priorities before ever picking up the phone. * Bonus: familiarity with school district procurement cycles, Title I / 21st CCLC funding, or public-sector sales norms. ## Description We're hiring a Sales Development Lead to build and fuel Ivy Camps' national pipeline of school and district partnerships. This is the engine room of the sales motion: you find the districts, qualify the opportunity, and get a meeting on the Partnerships Director's calendar. You won't carry the close. You'll make sure the pipeline never runs dry, and that every meeting that gets booked is worth having. What You'll Do * Build and manage top-of-funnel outreach to school and district decision-makers: identifying targets, researching funding sources and buying signals, and running multi-channel prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn, etc.). * Qualify inbound and outbound leads against Ivy Camps' ideal customer profile, routing only real opportunities into the pipeline. * Book qualified meetings for the Partnerships Director, with enough context ( district size, funding source, timeline, key stakeholders, etc.) that the first conversation starts warm, not cold. * Own and maintain CRM hygiene for the top of funnel: activity logging, lead status, and conversion tracking from first touch to meeting booked. * Run and iterate on outbound sequences and messaging, using A/B tests to improve response and meeting-booked rates. * Track down the open-to-meeting conversion bottleneck relentlessly. Closing it is the core measure of success in this role. * Partner closely with the Partnerships Director on target account lists, seasonal selling calendar, and lead scoring criteria as Ivy Camps' hub-and-spoke expansion moves into new states. * Represent Ivy Camps' first impression. Every district's first contact with Ivy Camps should feel premium, informed, and worth their time. ## Related Videos - [Hiring Technical Leaders: Promote from Within or Go External?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100167-hiring-technical-leaders-promote-from-within-or-go-external) - [Crypto-secure Data Management with In-Database Blockchain](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/632-crypto-secure-data-management-with-in-database-blockchain) - [Creating bots with Dialogflow CX](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/587-creating-bots-with-dialogflow-cx) - [Bringing the power of AI to your application.](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1010-bringing-the-power-of-ai-to-your-application) - [Build Delightful Mobile Experiences with Kotlin, Realm, and Atlas Device Sync](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/694-build-delightful-mobile-experiences-with-kotlin-realm-and-atlas-device-sync) - [Measuring Project Health in Open Source](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/300-measuring-project-health-in-open-source) ## Related Articles - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Why and How to Sponsor Developer Events](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/686-why-and-how-to-sponsor-developer-events) - [What’s the Difference between a Junior, Mid, and Senior Developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/238-what-s-the-difference-between-a-junior-mid-and-senior-developer) - [The Best Job Search Websites of 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/368-the-best-job-search-websites-of-2025) - [How Engineering Hubs Build Visibility at Developer Conferences like WeAreDevelopers World Congress](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/720-how-engineering-hubs-build-visibility-at-developer-conferences-like-wearedevelopers-world-congress) - [Promotion Interview Questions: How to Answer and Get the Job](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/413-promotion-interview-questions-how-to-answer-and-get-the-job)
