(Foreigner degree from accredited universities accepted). Required Experience * One year of experience in a relative technology field or Three years of experience in a relative technology field if no education is met. * Current experience providing technical desktop and network support in a large multi-platform and multi-operating systems environment. * Computer, devices, network and software trouble-shooting and problem solving skills required. * Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred, * Knowledge of networking and AD environment. * Collaboration and productivity tools (Google and/or Office). * Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills. * Strategic and operational leadership skills. * Ability to maintain confidentiality. * Detail-oriented, well-organized critical thinker with strong analytical skills. * Strong consultative relationship and interpersonal skills., * Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology preferred. * Network+ preferable. * A+ preferable. * Microsoft role based cert preferable. Financial Responsibilities This position does not currently handle physical money or negotiates contracts. ## Description The primary function of the IT Support Specialist is to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of servers, desktop systems, network, Internet and other computer technology. They provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software. This position installs, sets-up and tests computers and other hardware and software. They train users in various software applications and network-related procedures. Essential Job Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Follow department objectives, standards and procedures. * Receives and attends incidents and requests. * Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the Sanitas network, the Internet, PCs and other technology. * Acts proactively to prevent issues. * Configures, installs and updates computers and other devices in response to demands. * Trains end-users on the use and features of the operating systems and applications on the various platforms. * Installs, set-up and troubleshoots network equipment. * Will use service manager to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identify patterns of failure, research bug fixes and implements solutions. Communicates with the manager regarding unresolved problems. * Provides onsite and remote support. * Responsible for attending meetings and training as required. * Perform other assigned duties as required. * On call Shifts, The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands to operate tools and equipment and must be able to exert regularly up to 10 pounds of force, frequently exert 30 pounds of force and occasionally exert 50 pounds of force to constantly perform the essential job functions. The employee will be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, crawl, push, and pull. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Environmental Conditions Inside: The employee is subject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. The worker is subject to noise; there may be sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
