 + OR equivalent relevant experience
 * 10+ years of experience supporting IT systems and infrastructure
 * Experience administering Windows and/or UNIX/Linux operating systems
 * Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network systems
 * Experience providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support in an enterprise environment
 * Familiarity with system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
 * Strong communication and documentation skills
 * Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment

 * Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments
 * Familiarity with virtualization technologies and distributed systems
 * Experience with system automation or scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell)
 * Knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting techniques
 * Experience working in secure or mission-critical environments

## Description

We are seeking a System Administrator Level 2 to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise IT systems in a mission-focused environment. This role involves managing infrastructure across servers, storage, networking, and end-user systems while ensuring high system availability and performance.

The System Administrator will provide both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, troubleshoot complex system issues, and work closely with internal teams to maintain reliable and secure IT operations. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, operational environment.

 * Provide implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for IT systems
 * Manage day-to-day system operations, including monitoring, performance tuning, and issue resolution
 * Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (escalation) support for system and hardware issues
 * Diagnose and resolve issues across client, server, storage, and network devices
 * Assist users with accessing and utilizing IT systems
 * Configure and manage UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems
 * Install, configure, and maintain operating system software and system components
 * Monitor system performance and optimize resource utilization
 * Perform system capacity analysis and planning
 * Support escalation processes and communicate system status to stakeholders
 * Troubleshoot hardware issues and coordinate resolution efforts
 * Provide detailed analysis and feedback on escalated issues
