Nice to Have * Direct experience working in or with SNFs, ALFs, or other post-acute/senior care settings (scheduler, staffing coordinator, HR, or vendor-side). * Familiarity with CMS staffing regulations, PBJ reporting, or the 5-Star Quality Rating System. * Experience with client onboarding platforms (e.g., GuideCX) and ticketing tools (e.g., Jira). ## Description You will own the onboarding journey for clients adopting Empeon's Scheduling module - from kickoff and discovery through configuration, training, go-live, and handoff to Customer Success. You are the bridge between how a facility staffs its floors today and how Empeon makes that faster, compliant, and predictable. Success in this role means clients go live on time, schedulers actually use the system, and staffing compliance becomes easier, not harder. What You'll Do * Lead end-to-end onboarding of the Scheduling module for new and existing Empeon clients, managing multiple concurrent implementations against defined timelines and milestones. * Run discovery sessions to map each facility's staffing model: units, positions (RN/LPN/CNA and non-clinical roles), shift patterns and rotations, census-based HPPD budgets, and approval workflows. * Configure the module to match: shift templates and color-coding, differential pay rates and shift bonuses, overtime alert thresholds, call-out and shift-swap workflows, open-shift bidding, and geofenced mobile clock-in. * Ensure scheduling works seamlessly with the client's Empeon Time & Attendance and Payroll setup, validating that scheduled shifts, punches, and pay rules reconcile correctly. * Train schedulers, DONs, administrators, and HR teams - remotely and, when needed, on-site - and drive caregiver adoption of self-service scheduling on mobile. * Guide clients through compliance-oriented setup: CMS minimum staffing requirements, state DOH staffing rules, PBJ considerations, and HPPD targets tied to the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating System. * Manage data gathering and migration from spreadsheets, paper schedules, or legacy scheduling tools. * Provide post-go-live hypercare, resolve early-adoption issues, and execute a clean handoff to Customer Success and Support. * Feed field insights back to Product - recurring configuration gaps, feature requests, and SNF/ALF workflow patterns. ## Related Videos - [Launching a marketplace on-time: A lesson in taking shortcuts using spreadsheets!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/477-launching-a-marketplace-on-time-a-lesson-in-taking-shortcuts-using-spreadsheets) - [How One Developer Built the Back Office for 10 Million Companies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100082-how-one-developer-built-the-back-office-for-10-million-companies) - [In-depth .NET Azure Functions: Isolated mode, performance and durable AI agents](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100207-in-depth-net-azure-functions-isolated-mode-performance-and-durable-ai-agents) - [Improving quality with Agentic AI with Rovo Dev and Xray](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2005-improving-quality-with-agentic-ai-with-rovo-dev-and-xray) - [Migrating half a million users to a new payment service provider](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/730-migrating-half-a-million-users-to-a-new-payment-service-provider) - [From Syntax to Singularity: AI’s Impact on Developer Roles](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/900-from-syntax-to-singularity-ai-s-impact-on-developer-roles) ## Related Articles - [Spanish Business Culture and Etiquette](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/353-spanish-business-culture-and-etiquette) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [Remote Work: Best Practices for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/315-remote-work-best-practices-for-developers) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated)
