The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java/J2EE technologies along with hands-on experience in MUMPS (M Language) and healthcare systems such as VistA, RPMS, or other MUMPS-based applications. The candidate will lead technical teams, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions. ## Description Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based enterprise applications. Modernize legacy MUMPS applications by integrating or migrating functionality to Java-based platforms. Develop and support applications using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. Analyze existing MUMPS code, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements. Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to development teams. Design scalable system architectures and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Optimize application performance, security, and reliability. Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical estimations.
