## Description

As a Backend Engineer, you will design and deliver scalable backend services that power Veeva Ostro's SaaS platform. In this role, you'll balance high-velocity delivery with long-term code health, building impactful features while championing clean architecture, rigorous testing, and low technical debt.

 * Architect and scale high-performance APIs for Veeva Ostro's SaaS platform
 * Partner cross-functionally to design and ship new features
 * Provide technical feedback on product roadmaps and feature scoping
 * Champion quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and clean architecture
 * Optimize application and database performance to handle growth
 * Evaluate emerging backend technologies to improve engineering practices
 * Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues to maximize uptime
