## Description

Gain a holistic view of the publishing industry including competitive landscape, activation components and terminology, negotiation skills , best practices as well as daily stewardship tasks related to the print activation process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Support team in day-to-day tasks ranging from pre-planning to post buy/execution while also g ain ing knowledge of terms and best practices relating to print strategy and activation.

Tasks will include but not limited to:

 * Data C ollection; Assemble consideration sets and complete print rankers sourcing MRI data

 * RFP Submission; Coordinate submission process and communication with vendors, work with planner to review RFP submission s once received

 * Plan Building; Collect publication specific deadlines and information to compile supporting documents needed for the planning process, facilitate small scale negotiations, run Reach/Frequency in MRI software to inform plan deliveries

 * Plan Execution; Enter media plan into SBMS buying software , generate insertion orders, t rack receipt and confirm signatures , manage vendor communication regarding plan details , manage closing date calendars, assist in negotiating and implementing added value

 * Administrative Work; Coordinate v endor m eetings , complete Horizon mandatory trainings, manage client positioning and a dded value reports, conduct GfK Starch analysis, assist in writing POVs , compile industry newsletter for the agency
