## About the Role

* At least five years of experience managing IT projects and software-development initiatives, with a strong understanding of the SDLC, systems integrations, and Agile methodologies.
 * PMP certification and demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, offshore teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
 * Excellent communication, organization, and prioritization skills; nonprofit, association, Personify, or LMS experience is strongly preferred.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager for an immediate 1-2 month contract supporting a Washington, DC-based association. This individual will help manage a large portfolio of internal technology initiatives while the organization conducts its permanent search. This is an immediate 1-2 month contract requiring two days per week onsite in Washington, DC. Candidates must be comfortable accepting a short-term engagement., * Manage multiple concurrent software-development, systems-integration, and vendor-supported IT projects, ensuring priorities, deadlines, risks, and deliverables remain on track.

 * Coordinate communication among internal business stakeholders, offshore development teams, software engineers, and technology vendors, translating technical information for nontechnical audiences.
 * Maintain project plans, status updates, documentation, and stakeholder alignment in a fast-paced environment with a significant volume of active projects.
