The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. ## Description In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Aero BX or Enterprise Operations' Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation (EBDT) organization. As a key member of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Digital Transformation organization, the Solution Train Engineer will be a Servant Leader and Coach for the Saber Solution Train, facilitating and guiding the work of all ARTs and Suppliers in the digital thread ecosystem. This highly visible role will coordinate, facilitate, and help to guide the constituent Agile Release Trains (ARTs), IT Systems, and organizations toward productive outcomes. The Solution Train Engineer (STE) possesses a systems view of the entire development and delivery process. Working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, the Solution Train Engineer will have the following responsibilities: * Facilitates and guides the work of all ARTs and Suppliers in the Value Stream * Lead and coordinate the large solution delivery PI cadence * Act as a Lean-Agile Leader to the train and often as a Coach to others within the Solution Train and ARTs regarding Lean and Agile practices. * Be a relationship builder, establishing vital connections within and outside the Solution Train to help the portfolio operate as a collaborative, adaptive network * Facilitate synchronization across the Solution Train coordinating or hosting regular syncs to keep the Solution Train on track.
