## About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to support a mission-focused environment supporting critical government operations. This position requires a strong Linux systems administration background, experience with virtualization and automation technologies, and the ability to operate in secure enterprise environments., * Fifteen (15) years of experience as a System Administrator (SA)

 * Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university required
 + Five (5) additional years of SA experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree

Required Certifications

 * Active Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M requirements, or the ability to obtain within six (6) months of start date

Required Technical Skills

 * Linux system administration
 * Containerization technologies
 * Storage management
 * KVM virtualization
 * Automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible and/or SALT
 * FreeIPA administration and support
 * Scripting experience using Bash, Perl, Python, or similar languages
 * SSP compliance and documentation support
 * STE/STN support experience
 * Cloud technologies and AWS experience

Clearance Requirement

 * Active security clearance required, * Experience supporting classified or mission-critical government environments
 * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
 * Ability to work independently in fast-paced operational settings

## Description

* Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based enterprise environments
 * Support virtualization, storage, and container platforms
 * Develop and maintain automation solutions for system deployment and configuration management
 * Support secure system operations in compliance with government security requirements
 * Assist with SSP documentation and compliance initiatives
 * Provide operational support for mission systems and secure communications infrastructure
 * Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to maintain system availability and performance
