## About the Role

* 5+ years of experience in a similar position
 * Excellent knowledge of configuring and operating active network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls
 * Strong knowledge of network technologies: VLAN, STP, static routing, PBR, OSPF, BGP, ACL, IPSEC, OpenVPN, DNS, DHCP, etc.
 * Experience with VMWare: vCenter, vSAN, Distributed Switch, HA
 * Working knowledge of HP/Dell servers and storage systems
 * Experience in the administration of Debian/Ubuntu family Linux
 * Experience in the administration of monitoring systems, logging, and collection of metrics
 * Intermediate or higher level of spoken and technical English
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
 * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, * Knowledge/experience with DevOps practices
 * Experience with IaC, Ansible/Puppet/Terraform configuration management systems
 * Experience with Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
 * Understanding of information security principles, experience with SOC2/PCI DSS infrastructure
 * Familiarity with Kanban methodology
 * A big plus will be the experience of working on large projects with a significant personal contribution

## Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cutting-edge network and infrastructure solutions, as well as providing support to development teams., * Ensure the smooth operation of the company's geo-distributed infrastructure

 * Maintenance and configuration of network equipment, bare metal servers, NAS
 * Maintenance and configuration of virtualization system (VMWare)
 * Administer multiple Linux servers
 * Monitor the status of services and prompt resolution of emerging problems
 * Automate administrative tasks
 * Participate in the development and improvement of infrastructure
 * Interact with developers, database administrators, DevOps engineers, architects
