The successful candidate will work closely with college leadership, faculty, staff, and university partners to support innovation in teaching, learning, research, and student success, while guiding the college's long-term technology vision., * IT Leadership, Planning, and College Coordination: Provide strategic leadership for the college's technology services. Collaborate with the Dean's Office, department chairs, and Digital Transformation DX to establish technology priorities, develop long-term technology strategies, coordinate college-wide technology initiatives, and ensure alignment with university policies and strategic objectives. * Instructional Computing Labs and Specialized Technologies: Oversee the operation, maintenance, availability, and continuous improvement of instructional computing labs and specialized technologies that support the college's academic programs. Coordinate software deployment, system imaging, lab configurations, upgrades, and lab availability to ensure instructional readiness. Collaborate with faculty and departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions that support teaching, learning, and specialized instructional environments. * Faculty and Staff Technology Support: Direct and oversee technology support services for faculty and staff, including computers, software, peripherals, mobile devices, and other departmental technology resources that support teaching, research, and administrative operations. Establish service standards and priorities, coordinate technology deployments and refreshes, and ensure timely resolution of technology issues. * Infrastructure, Systems, Operations, Budget, and Technology Lifecycle Management: Oversee college-managed computing infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, including virtual machines, cloud services, and other technology systems. Coordinate infrastructure needs with Digital Transformation DX and ensure systems remain reliable, available, and properly maintained. Prepare and manage the college IT budget; oversee technology procurement and purchasing, software licensing, vendor relationships, and technology inventories; guide infrastructure planning and technology decisions; manage High Performance Computing/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence HPC/ML/AI computing resources; and develop equipment lifecycle, replacement, and long-term technology investment plans. * Cybersecurity, Compliance, and Risk Management: Coordinate and support the security of college technology resources by implementing endpoint protection, access management, backup and recovery processes, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery planning in collaboration with Digital Transformation DX. Promote compliance with university technology policies, standards, and security best practices, and assist in identifying and mitigating technology-related risks. * Personnel Leadership and Staff Development: Recruit, hire, supervise, mentor, train, schedule, and evaluate IT staff.
