You will design and build Cambly's design system as a project: a structured, variable-based token architecture (color, spacing, type, and more) and a documented component library that builds on top of it, with structural support for theming. You'll modernize our existing design system into one that includes clear rules for when and how to use each component, and write specs and documentation precise enough that our designers, our engineers, and our AI coding agents can all implement correctly with minimal ambiguity. You will also be part of a small, fast-moving design team where your work frees up our product designers to focus on the high-craft areas of Lexicon that need it most. ## Related Videos - [NoCode LiveCode: Leveraging AI Tools to Craft Fully Functional Apps!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1169-nocode-livecode-leveraging-ai-tools-to-craft-fully-functional-apps) - [Insights from building the Canva Developers Platform to empower 185 million designers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/942-insights-from-building-the-canva-developers-platform-to-empower-185-million-designers) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Building a component library for modern challenges](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/650-building-a-component-library-for-modern-challenges) - [Fireside Chat with Kris Rasmussen, CTO at Figma](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/982-fireside-chat-with-kris-rasmussen-cto-at-figma) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) ## Related Articles - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Are design and development really just the same thing?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/520-are-design-and-development-really-just-the-same-thing) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Declarative Design and a fresh take on collaboration with developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/595-declarative-design-and-a-fresh-take-on-collaboration-with-developers) - [Dev Digest 118 - not a total recall](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/452-dev-digest-118-not-a-total-recall)
