This position provides advanced Tactical Data Link expertise, emerging-mission analysis, course development, interoperability support, and technical curriculum leadership for U.S., allied, and coalition forces. The ideal candidate has extensive Tactical Data Link experience, prior military instructor experience, and demonstrated expertise analyzing emerging systems, developing advanced training requirements, and integrating new technologies into Joint Tactical Operations Interface curricula Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret Clearance Work Schedule: Full-time Onsite M-F Schedules may be adjusted to support extended training periods, weekends, practical exercises, and courses conducted on federal holidays. CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required to support Mobile Training Teams, allied training, exercises, and other mission requirements. Role Overview The Subject Matter Expert supports the evolution of the Joint Tactical Operations Interface Training Program by analyzing emerging mission systems and translating new capabilities into effective training solutions. The SME conducts Front-End Analyses, evaluates Joint Mission Essential Tasks, identifies training requirements, and recommends whether emerging capabilities should be incorporated into existing curricula or developed into new advanced courses. Responsibilities include developing syllabi, learning objectives, technical courseware, topic packages, and implementation recommendations. The role also serves as a senior technical liaison to program offices, Service Battle Laboratories, acquisition and interoperability organizations, and other stakeholders supporting the Multi-TDL Network.
