## About the Role

Student Assistant/Research Assistant

 * Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, or related
 * Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours with your university
 * 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA, * Ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
 * Ability to perform in a collaborative environment with a cross functional team
 * Strong math skills
 * Experience with one or more of the following:
 + Python, C++, Java
 + Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
 + Linux networking, TCP/IP, VLAN, 5G/LTE, IOT (MQTT/Modbus)

## Description

The Electronic Systems Laboratory (ELSYS) of the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking technical personnel to be part of an established software team in the Open Systems Integration and Test (OSIT) branch of the Air National Guard Programs Division (ANGPD) division for the Fall 2026 semester in our Arizona field office. Our software team employs a modern software engineering process to design, code, integrate and test capabilities on a continuous basis resulting in a mature and quality solution for our customers. We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon a diverse workforce whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms.
