Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing technologies? Do you have a knack for helping groups understand application architectures and integration approaches, and the consultative and leadership skills to launch a project on a trajectory to success?, As a Senior Solutions Architect within the AWS WWPS Partner team, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of AWS services-including AI/ML, high-performance computing (HPC), advanced analytics, digital engineering, and manufacturing systems modernization-directly with our ecosystem of defence-sector systems integrators, consulting and technology partners. You will serve as a dedicated technical resource for high-growth defence partners navigating critical cloud adoption and modernization initiatives, leading strategic engagement at the executive level with minimal oversight. Your broad responsibilities will include: owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; defining implementation architectures across compute, data, machine learning, and operational tooling; responding to RFPs; developing deep expertise in AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform; and serving as a subject matter expert on defence industry workflows, compliance frameworks, and the unique technical challenges of mission-critical environments. You will drive architectural decisions across multiple concurrent workstreams and ensure AWS is positioned as the strategic infrastructure partner of choice during critical scaling periods. This role requires the ability to operate independently, communicate credibly with both technical and executive stakeholders, and maintain momentum across complex, multi-domain engagements.
