## About the Role

IMPORTANT: All applicants must have secondary school IT experience. Applications without this will not be considered. You must hold or be eligible to hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate., Essential:

 - Minimum 3 years' IT support experience within a secondary school - this is a firm requirement

 - Strong working knowledge of Windows Desktop and Microsoft 365

 - Active Directory and Group Policy administration

 - Mobile Device Management experience - Intune and/or JAMF

 - Excellent communication skills - you will be the face of IT for staff and students

 - Strong documentation habits and a disciplined approach to ticket management

 - Ability to prioritise effectively across multiple open incidents

 - Client-first mindset - technically strong and people-aware in equal measure

 - Eligible to hold an Enhanced DBS certificate

Desirable:

 - Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, PowerShell scripting and server infrastructure

 - Networking experience - VLANs, managed switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi infrastructure

 - Experience with SCCM, Intune, JAMF and cloud-based deployment tooling

 - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and M365 advanced administration

 - Autotask and Datto stack experience (advantageous)

 - Chromebook and Apple device management in a school environment, * secondary education support: 3 years (required)

## Description

Do you want to join a team that works together, appreciates and supports each other, and genuinely enjoys hard work? Then we need to talk., Provide full 2nd line technical support across a dual campus secondary school

 - Work with the MSC helpdesk team to resolve support calls within SLA

 - Escalate and manage third-party suppliers to drive resolution of complex issues

 - Carry out IT audits and provide recommendations on the school's environment

 - Own incident management from identification through to resolution and documentation

 - Support and contribute to the wider MSC team
