## About the Role

We're on the hunt for a Data Engineer with proven experience in designing and building data systems in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should:

 * Have 2 to 4 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a strong command of SQL and Python in production-grade, orchestrated environments
 * Demonstrate a solid understanding of data modeling, data pipeline architecture, and performance optimization
 * Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a risk-taking, problem-solving, and continuously learning work environment
 * Be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools (code generation, documentation, debugging) as a natural part of their daily workflow, with the critical thinking to use them effectively
 * Embody our company values of boldness, ingenuity, and responsibility, with a commitment to data quality and engineering excellence

## Description

Contribute to the design of scalable, reliable, and high-performance data pipelines across our Data Platform and its ecosystem (data warehouses, APIs, event buses, visualization platforms)

 * Take ownership of critical data domains, ensuring end-to-end reliability, observability, and performance
 * Apply and improve data quality frameworks and best practices to ensure all metrics and datasets provided across the company are trustworthy and actionable
 * Collaborate closely with stakeholders to anticipate data needs, identify bottlenecks, and proactively propose solutions
 * Contribute to the evolution of our Data Platform strategy, including tooling choices, architecture patterns, and documentation
 * Participate in incident response and root cause analysis on data-related issues, ensuring fast recovery and long-term resilience
 * Share knowledge and best practices with team members, contributing to collective growth and helping raise engineering standards across the team, * Snowflake
 * Airflow
 * Python
 * S3
 * Kafka
 * AI-assisted development tools (LLM-based coding assistants, etc.)
