Experience * Financial systems such as ERP, Procurement, Revenue, Treasury, or Tax applications. * API integrations and system-to-system data exchanges. * Experience supporting enterprise application releases and production deployments. * Experience creating test plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT). ## Description We're looking for an experienced IT Applications Analyst to support business-critical financial applications in a collaborative Agile environment. This is a highly visible role that serves as the bridge between business users and technology, helping ensure financial systems remain stable, efficient, and well-supported. This position is fully remote; however, candidates must reside in the Central Time Zone and be available during standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST). What You'll Be Doing * Provide production application support for business-critical financial systems, ensuring timely issue resolution and minimal business disruption. * Write complex SQL queries to research issues, validate data, troubleshoot production problems, and support reporting requests. (Strong SQL query writing is essential.) * Support financial business processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and related accounting workflows. * Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with technical teams to resolve system and data-related problems. * Partner closely with Accounting, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate issues, and deliver effective solutions. * Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and backlog items for development teams. * Develop and execute test plans for system enhancements, releases, and production fixes. * Analyze application data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement. * Support application configuration, release validation, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). * Create and maintain system documentation, support materials, and end-user training documentation. ## Related Videos - [Replacing Excel with SAP APIs & Python validation](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1944-replacing-excel-with-sap-apis-python-validation) - [Is it still C#?
