## About the Role

At Palletways we are seeking an enthusiastic Junior IT Support Technician to join the support function of our innovative IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced IT department where the successful applicant will have the ability to make an impact on a rapidly growing business., * Previous experience within a Technical Support role or someone with IT qualifications who is looking for their first IT role

 * Experience of using and supporting Windows operating systems
 * Experience with Active directory
 * Excellent communication and problem solving skills
 * Drive or have access to a vehicle/bike for daily commute

Desirable

 * ITIL Foundation Certification, * IT support: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

 * ITIL Certification (preferred)

## Description

The role demands an energetic individual who has a "can do" attitude, is focused, organised and able to positively respond to end user needs. The individual must be customer service orientated, a clear communicator and able to work under stressful situations whilst still maintaining and building good relationships with individuals.

Duties will include:

 * Handle telephone calls relating to support requirements
 * Respond to and resolve both software and hardware support queries via our ITSM tool
 * Provide support and assistance on the bespoke Palletways web portal
 * Ensure the smooth running of all IT systems
 * Monitor and manage backups
 * Support smartphones and tablets
 * Maintain and create Power BI reports
 * Out of hours support
