## About the Role

* Previous experience in a Building Control, Planning, Technical Support, or Administrative role.
 * Good understanding of Building Control processes and Building Regulations is desirable.
 * Excellent customer service and communication skills.
 * Strong administrative and organisational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
 * Experience using databases and Microsoft Office applications.
 * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
 * Knowledge of data protection and confidentiality requirements.
 * A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
 * Evidence of continuing professional development is desirable., * Building Control, Planning, Technical Support or similar: 1 year (required)

## Description

* Act as the first point of contact for Building Control enquiries from customers and stakeholders.
 * Process Building Regulation applications accurately and efficiently.
 * Maintain and update Building Control records and databases, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant with data protection requirements.
 * Provide administrative and technical support to Building Control Surveyors.
 * Respond to customer enquiries by telephone, email, and in person, resolving issues where appropriate or escalating when necessary.
 * Monitor application progress and ensure work is completed within agreed service standards.
 * Support the continuous improvement of Building Control processes and procedures.
 * Assist with preparing reports, correspondence, and documentation.
 * Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, relevant legislation, and organisational policies.
 * Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality Building Control service.
