* 10+ years of hands-on ISSO experience supporting secure system operations in isolated, connected, and standalone environments.
 * 5+ years supporting the preparation and maintenance of SSPs and other security documentation.
 * 5+ years administering tools supporting IAVA management., * Proven experience with security tools, hardware/software security implementation, encryption technologies, and communication protocols.
 * Extensive experience evaluating software architectures and systems for compliance with security requirements.
 * Background implementing and enforcing security policies on large-scale software or IT programs.
 * Demonstrated success delivering day-to-day security operations for complex systems.
 * Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and committed to best practices.
 * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills., * Bachelor's degree in a related field.
 * 12+ years of relevant experience supporting large-scale software development or integration programs.
 * DoD 8570 Compliance:
 + IAT Level II or higher
 + IAM Level II or higher

## Description

* Implement and enforce information systems security policies, methodologies, and best practices.
 * Perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) management, remediation, and reporting.
 * Develop, maintain, and update system security documentation, including SSPs and C&A artifacts.
 * Collaborate closely with the ISSM to uphold the program's IA posture.
 * Maintain the operational security posture for assigned information systems.
 * Conduct security evaluations to ensure systems meet all certification and compliance requirements.
 * Maintain technical records for workstations, servers, network devices, and security appliances.
 * Analyze cyber threats and develop strategies for incident detection, reporting, and remediation.
 * Manage security-related configuration changes across software, hardware, and firmware.
 * Support evaluation and deployment of security solutions for multi-classification environments.
 * Develop, update, and enforce system-specific security policies.
 * Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms for assigned systems.
