## About the Role

* Minimum 7 years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale systems using Microsoft .NET architecture.
 * Minimum 5 years developing web-based applications with N-tier architectures and robust security models.
 * In-depth knowledge of Microsoft OS, application servers, database systems, and web/messaging servers.
 * Proven success in designing and implementing multiple software components and subsystems.
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

 * Experience working in Agile development environments.
 * Familiarity with performance, security, and regression testing tools.

## Description

The South Carolina Department of Social Services (SCDSS) is seeking a highly skilled Systems Software Programmer - Project Lead to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale web applications on the Microsoft .NET platform. The primary focus of this role will be on the SC New Hire application within the integrated Child Support Enforcement systems.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in building visual interfaces, application logic, database structures, and web services in a Microsoft Windows environment. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Microsoft technology stack are essential.
Daily Responsibilities:

 * Design, develop, test, and support scalable .NET web applications.
 * Review and enhance the existing system architecture and suggest improvements.
 * Collaborate with team members and technical leads to understand requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.
 * Design and implement subsystems and components in object-oriented terms.
 * Perform unit testing and participate in integration and system testing.
 * Analyze and debug subsystems/components and recommend suitable fixes.
 * Support and maintain the team's technical infrastructure (repository, build/test system).
 * Write scripts and monitor systems using automated tools.
 * Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
