## About the Role

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of software development experience.

Must also have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

 * Building production software systems with well-tested code;
 * Front-end and back-end software development;
 * Designing, building, and maintaining functional applications including web-based agent tooling platforms, case management and routing systems;
 * Integrating and maintaining multiple systems and processes including cloud-based infrastructure platforms, database systems, API gateways, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines;
 * Developing software solutions that support internal operations or customer workflows;
 * Writing software in Ruby, React, or TypeScript;
 * Building and maintaining high-throughput API services; and
 * Improving system performance and operational efficiency

## Description

* Drive technical innovation to support automation and efficiency, serving both Stripe users and internal teams;
 * Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand operational challenges and implement robust technical solutions;
 * Design and implement features to power Stripe's global 24/7 support operation.
 * Write high-quality, well-tested code with appropriate monitoring and observability;
 * Build support for initiatives by sharing compelling data, and measure outcomes to demonstrate successful execution;
 * Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions;
 * Partner with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences., Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
