Technical certifications required: Security+. Other preferred certifications: RHCSA (Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator) and/or Linux+, Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CEH, CISSP. Communication, both oral and written, skills necessary. Extensive experience, well documented in the application packet, may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement., Work experience in network or cyber security with an emphasis in Linux and other open source programs and technologies. Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college and/or experience as an industry/corporate trainer.
