Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. ## Description The Data Governance Manager - IT is responsible and accountable for driving implementation of end-to-end Global Data Governance at a domain level (e.g., Product, Customer, Vendor) to drive efficiency, business agility, cost savings, and innovation through effective decision-making. It is expected that this individual continuously invests in learning and stays informed of the latest in Data Governance, Analytics, and Data Science approaches, solutions, frameworks, technology offerings, and best practices., * Leads the Data Governance Council meetings, prepares agenda, and follow-ups. * Leads discovery to understand data systems, processes, and people affecting one or several data domains. Applies COBIT frameworks specific to data governance and data management needs. * Engages stakeholders, sponsors, executives, and business users to map existing data owners and responsible parties, and drive consensus on future data ownership. * Implements change management across diverse functional areas when introducing data governance solutions (quality rules, monitoring tools, data catalogs) that will affect the way individuals work; and gets users' commitment to adopt new solutions and to change their business processes if needed. * Effectively maps user decisions to systems, data, actions, and motivators to design industry-leading customer experiences.
