We are seeking a senior technology leader with the credibility, business acumen and leadership experience to operate effectively with executive stakeholders and lead large-scale transformation initiatives. Lead Technology for Operations * Own the end-to-end technology landscape supporting operational activities across collection, sorting, transport and distribution. * Ensure the availability, stability, performance and scalability of mission-critical business systems. * Act as the primary technology partner for senior operational leadership and key business stakeholders. * Balance operational excellence with long-term technology transformation and innovation. Drive Technology Strategy and Delivery * Define and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives. * Lead the successful delivery of technology programmes, platforms and capabilities. * Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and ways of working. * Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology, automation, data and innovation. Lead and Develop Teams * Lead, coach and develop a team of Technology Capability Leads and technology professionals. * Build a high-performing culture focused on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement. * Ensure the organisation has the skills and capabilities required to support both operational excellence and future growth. Manage Investment and Performance * Own a significant technology budget and ensure strong financial governance. * Balance operational priorities, technology investments and transformation initiatives to maximise business value. * Monitor and improve service quality, operational performance and delivery outcomes.
