They are currently in the process of centralising their IT service and have therefore approached Hays seeking to appoint 2 new roles to their central trust team - an Engineer to predominantly be based in Trafford, and the other a more mobile position based in Manchester & Liverpool. Your new role In this role as IT lead, you will support the delivery and development of reliable, secure and effective IT services across the Trust, ensuring technology supports teaching, learning and day-to-day operations, working closely with the wider IT team, IT Director and CFO. You will take ownership of IT provision within your allocated school in Trafford, occasionally with travel required to other schools, providing proactive and reactive technical support, maintaining hardware, software, networks and infrastructure, and ensuring staff and students receive a responsive and high-quality service. You will work closely with school leaders, central IT colleagues and external suppliers to resolve technical issues, manage service tickets, support system updates, maintain accurate asset records and implement Trust-wide IT policies.
