Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Senior Design Engineer - **Company:** MWS Equipment - **Location:** Coalisland, UK (Remote available) - **Experience:** Expert - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, 3d Models, AutoCAD, Adobe InDesign, Desktop Publishing, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Creo - **Published:** July 26, 2026 - **Apply:** https://uk.indeed.com/viewjob?jk=519ea22cf6feaf8e ## About the Role The successful applicant will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in Design Engineering or a relevant discipline and will have at least five years' experience in the recycling and materials handling industry. * Must be proficient in MS Office (including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Good working knowledge of Desk Top Publishing. * Previous 3D CAD experience is essential, preferably using Creo. * Previous 2D AutoCAD experience would be advantageous. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. * Proven attention to detail and a strong team player with proven experience of working collaboratively with a range of departments. * Problem solving and time management skills required. * Self-motivated, organised and able to manage competing priorities. ## Description The role will provide senior engineering support for MWS product development, with responsibility for delivering robust, manufacturable and customer-focused design solutions across the product range., The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for planning, organising and directing engineering projects from concept through design, prototype, manufacture and commissioning.
