## About the Role

* Hands-on engineering experience within an R&D, laboratory, or workshop environment
 * Experience designing and operating hardware test and validation systems
 * Proven ability to develop and scale testing and validation processes
 * Strong understanding of environmental, structural, and reliability testing principles
 * Knowledge of relevant industry standards, particularly MIL-STD-810H and IP ratings
 * A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams

## Description

They're looking for a Hardware Test Engineer to help build and operate their in-house testing capability - developing robust validation processes and ensuring products are ready to perform when it matters most.
What you'll be doing:

 * Designing and operating custom testbeds for hardware products
 * Conducting vibration, thermal, fatigue, and environmental testing
 * Operating environmental chambers, vibration tables, and DAQ systems
 * Testing products against standards including MIL-STD-810H, IP, and IK ratings
 * Analysing test results and providing recommendations that directly influence product design and development
 * Helping develop and scale validation processes from early prototypes through to production
