BONUS POINTS * Experience with IaC * Deep architectural experience * Experience with mentoring other team members ## Description We are hiring a Software Engineer - Backend to join the Funds Transfers team. Join the team powering the financial heartbeat of Pliant. We own the fund flows logic that drives every money movement across the platform: from settlements and drawdowns to customer top-ups, pay-ins and billing before they ever touch external payment rails. Our systems orchestrate issuer settlements, refinancing mechanisms, and complex liquidity flows across multiple markets, entities, and regulatory models. This is high-impact, high-scale engineering at the core of a fast-growing fintech, where precision, resilience, and smart execution directly shape how money moves for thousands of organizations. If you're excited about building robust financial infrastructure that operates at scale and under real-world constraints, this is where you'll make it matter. The Team Tech Stack * Java, Spring Boot * AWS cloud services * PostgreSQL * Kafka The team consists of backend and frontend engineers alongside a product manager and an engineering manager. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Working on technical initiatives: Collaborating with others to drive epics and technical initiatives within the team.
