In this role, you will completely own the "how" of our technology platform, dictating the architecture, tech stack selections, code quality, and technical methodology. You will act as the technical deputy to our CTO, while serving as the delivery counterpart to the Head of Product & Technology to drive execution against our product roadmap., * Technical Ownership & Architecture: Own execution against the roadmap and oversee the system architecture. Ensure everything built is of outstanding quality and set strict technical standards for the rest of the engineering team to follow. * Team Leadership & Management: Act as the CTO's technical deputy by providing technical guidance, support, and mentorship across the development team. You will directly line-manage our Junior Technician upon joining and ensure effective software change management, fixes, and prompt problem resolution. * Delivery & Code Quality: Lead constructive code reviews to provide feedback, mitigate bugs, and actively grow the capabilities of your team. * Interim Execution: Take full ownership of frontline day-to-day tickets and technical projects, ensuring the tech team is hitting key deliverables and KPIs * Stakeholder Alignment: Act as the translation layer between complex engineering concepts and the business.
