Experience: * Minimum of 8 years of enterprise UNIX/Linux engineering experience. * Experience supporting DoD, Federal, or large enterprise environments. * Experience with RHEL, Oracle Linux, Bash, Python, Ansible, LVM, NFS, LDAP, SSH, VMware integration, backup/recovery, and performance tuning., * Experience engineering and sustaining UNIX/Linux infrastructure supporting Department of the Air Force DCO weapon systems, DAFIN-SOC environments, or comparable 24x7 mission operations. * Advanced expertise with RHEL and Oracle Linux, including high-availability architectures, VMware integration, LVM, NFS, LDAP, SSH, enterprise backup and recovery, and performance optimization. * Demonstrated experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and security compliance using Ansible, Bash, Python, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Checklist-as-Code methodologies. ## Description The UNIX Engineer III serves as the senior UNIX/Linux infrastructure engineer responsible for the design, implementation, administration, sustainment, and modernization of enterprise UNIX and Linux environments supporting the Department of the Air Force's Defensive Cyberspace Operations Weapon Systems.
