## About the Role

Required:

 * Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
 * Minimum of 8 years of experience in back-end development
 * Expertise in one or more back-end programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or Node.js.
 * Strong understanding of database technologies, both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
 * Experience with API design and development (e.g., REST, GraphQL).
 * Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
 * Knowledge of server-side frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring, .NET).
 * Knowledge of database design and optimization techniques
 * Experience with API development and integration
 * Understanding of security best practices for classified environments
 * Experience with authentication and authorization systems

Desired:

 * Experience working with classified systems and security requirements
 * Knowledge of TSSC operations and requirements
 * Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services
 * Understanding of signal processing and data analysis techniques
 * Experience with high-performance computing for data processing
 * Experience with message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
 * Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis or Memcached
 * Expertise in designing and implementing microservices architectures
 * Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible

## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back-End Developer with TS/SCI clearance to join our dynamic team.

Duties shall include:

 * Designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications and APIs
 * Building and managing databases, and ensuring data integrity and security
 * Design and optimize database queries and data access layers
 * Integrate with Government authentication systems and security frameworks
 * Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
 * Leading code reviews and promoting best practices in back-end development
 * Implement security controls and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
 * Create and maintain documentation for back-end systems and interfaces\
 * Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration
 * Coordinate with data engineering team on database design and implementation
 * Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior developers
