Preferred Qualifications * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. * Willingness to learn new technologies and tools. * Exceptional Customer Service, Analytical, and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to research, document and convey information to others.Ability to work independently and in a team environment. ## Description The Office of Legislative Counsel ( OLC) is seeking to hire a student assistant to work u nder the close supervision of the Application Security Section lead within the Cyber Security, Network, and Environmental Division of the Legislative Technology Branch, the student assistant will assist with the development and maintenance of documentation related to Enterprise Applications security, security awareness training, and other related tasks within the Application Security section., F lexible workdays and work hours, Monday - Friday, between 8 AM - 5 PM. The final work schedule will be determined by the supervisor., Student Assistant and Graduate Assistant employees generally work up to 24 hours per workweek (Sunday - Saturday) during the academic year and up to 40 hours per workweek during breaks; (winter, spring, and summer)., * Assist with development and maintenance of enterprise applications catalog. * Collect and document application meta data from development teams within the organization. * Assist with developing, reviewing, testing, and maintaining security awareness training, documentation, and other materials supporting the Security Awareness Training Program. * Assist with software/application testing.Review security training content for consistency. Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods; frequently stand and walk; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; verbal communication.
