This position offers opportunities to travel internationally, acquire a diverse range of practical engineering experience, and interact with customers around the world. Currently, we are seeking an engineer to support the execution of ATM projects for several airports in Australia., A bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or computer science from an accredited institution or relevant military education & training 15+ years of relevant experience Opportunity for international travel (up to 10%) Computer programming experience in a high-level language such as Matlab, C/C++, Java, etc. The ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Demonstrated personal time management, planning, and organizing skills. Technical project planning skills (including providing cost and schedule estimates). Drive to take ownership of project execution. Desired Expertise: Knowledge of Air Traffic Surveillance and Control systems including international ATC terminology, standards and procedures Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems Familiarity with IP networks including Firewalls The successful candidate will have: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify, understand, and proactively manage risks. The ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal), including presenting to and collaborating with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers.
