Experience:

 * 15+ years in QA with 3-5 years in a lead/manager role.
 * Experience managing 10-50 QA resources.
 * Onsite-offshore coordination experience.
 * Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
 * Working with US client environments (important for staffing roles) .

Technical:

 * Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
 * Test management tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Client ALM, TestRail.
 * Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright - optional but preferred) .
 * API testing knowledge (Postman, ReadyAPI).
 * Understanding DevOps workflows (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins).

Soft Skills:

 * Leadership & team coaching.
 * Excellent communication for clientfacing roles.
 * Risk/issue escalation.
 * Decision-making in tight timelines.
 * Strong documentation & presentation skills.

 * Managing teams (onsite/offshore QA resources).
 * Building test processes: functional, regression, UAT, SIT.
 * Stakeholder management with Product, Dev, Release, and Business teams.
 * Budgeting, resourcing, and risk management.
 * Quality governance and release readiness signoff.
 * Setting up test metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
