## Description

* Install, configure, upgrade, and patch SQL Server instances.
 * Manage database backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.
 * Configure and support High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions such as:

 * Always On Availability Groups
 * Log Shipping
 * Replication
 * Database Mirroring
 * Failover Clustering
 * DAG
 * Transparent Data Encryption
 * Monitor database health, performance, and availability.
 * Troubleshoot performance issues, blocking, deadlocks, and replication failures.
 * Perform query tuning, index optimization, and database maintenance activities.
 * Manage security, including logins, users, roles, permissions, encryption, and compliance requirements.
 * Monitor SQL Agent Jobs, Alerts, Maintenance Plans, and backups.
 * Conduct capacity planning for CPU, memory, storage, and database growth.
 * Support database migrations, upgrades, and cloud deployments (Azure SQL/AWS RDS).
 * Create automation scripts using T-SQL and PowerShell.
 * Work with application teams during releases, deployments, and production incidents.
 * Provide 24x7 production support and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
