You will have the authority to say "No" to areas that do not solve a validated problem. + Utilize prioritization frameworks (e.g. RICE) to prioritize your backlog, ensuring we are working on the highest value items first. * Master the Backlog and Workflow + Ruthlessly prioritize the backlog using data to say 'no' to low-value work. + Write clear, concise user stories that focus on clear success criteria. + Partner with the Tech Leads and tool vendors to push on innovative areas of products that deliver more value to our customers and scale our management of platforms. * Bridge the Gap (Stakeholder Management) + Act as the primary translator between leadership, our customers, and engineering teams. + Communicate progress using a variety of modes, including Demos, Reviews, Presentations, and Writeups. + Work with cross-functional teams to continuously deliver value and measure success. + Participate in Agile ceremonies as the voice of the customer. How You Will Work: * Outcome over Output + You won't be measured by how many PRDs you write, but by metrics like Time-to-Value, Adoption, and Impact to the business. * Data over Opinion + You will use data to validate hypotheses and ensure alignment even when opinions differ. * Discovery over Assumption + We don't hand you a roadmap. You build it by talking to your users and defining problems. ## Related Videos - [Stop Renaming Teams, Start Product Thinking: A PM's Guide to Platform-as-a-Product](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100342-stop-renaming-teams-start-product-thinking-a-pm-s-guide-to-platform-as-a-product) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Stack Overflow: Community and AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/600-stack-overflow-community-and-ai) - [Building an agentic software factory: How we rebuilt product development at Pipedrive](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100261-building-an-agentic-software-factory-how-we-rebuilt-product-development-at-pipedrive) - [Developer Experience in the Age of AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1118-developer-experience-in-the-age-of-ai) - [Building the Next Generation of Software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100186-building-the-next-generation-of-software) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [What is Agentic Programming and Why Should Developers Care?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/625-what-is-agentic-programming-and-why-should-developers-care) - [Now is the time for industrialized software development](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/601-now-is-the-time-for-industrialized-software-development) - [What is product discovery and why do developers need it?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/517-what-is-product-discovery-and-why-do-developers-need-it) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Never delegate the understanding](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/749-never-delegate-the-understanding)
