## About the Role

Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience., * Proficiency in C++ programming. Specifically, the standard template library (STL), smart pointers, and inheritance

 * Experience working with Submarine Warfare Federated Tactical Systems (SWFTS)
 * Experience with networking protocols, AMQP, and socket programming such as TCP and UDP
 * Experience with software development and source control best practices (Git)
 * US Citizenship required

Nice to Have Qualifications:

 * Experience with Agile development methodologies
 * Software development experience in a Linux environment
 * Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
 * Experience with the QT Framework
 * Understanding of BYG-1 and knowledge of submarine systems and operations
 * Experience with Jira and Confluence
