## About the Role

* Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
 * 5+ years SOC experience required.
 * One relevant certification such as CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) required or obtain within six months of employment.
 * Expert knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows and Linux.
 * Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Hyper-V.
 * Expertise in system monitoring tools, such as WireShark and Zabbix.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
 * Knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures.
 * Must be at least 21 years of age with no more than 2 moving violations and 1 chargeable accident within the last three years.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS: To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, talking, typing, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally., Preferred

 * Bachelors or better in Information Technology or related field

## Description

* Design, implement, and maintain computer systems infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network devices.
 * Monitor and maintain system security, ensuring that the systems are protected from unauthorized access.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues and provide support to end-users.
 * Create and maintain system documentation and diagrams;
 * Collaborate with IT team members to ensure that the systems are meeting the needs of the company.
 * Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
 * Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in system engineering.
 * Perform any other duties as directed by management.
