In this role, you will focus on moving remaining legacy infrastructure into Terraform, managing our Kubernetes clusters, and improving our automated deployment workflows in GitHub Actions so feature updates can ship safely and frequently. What You Will Work On * Maintain multi-account AWS environments hosting production, staging, and dev workloads using modular Terraform. * Manage production Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including node group scaling, ingress controllers, and Helm charts. * Maintain GitHub Actions workflows for microservices deployments and automated infrastructure checks. * Set up subnets, VPC peering, transit gateways, route tables, and granular IAM roles. * Configure Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch for real-time metrics, log aggregation, and alert routing. * Participate in an on-call rotation to investigate system outages, perform root-cause analysis, and patch underlying infrastructure issues. * Review cloud cost reports in AWS Cost Explorer to identify oversized EC2 instances or unattached EBS volumes and optimize resource allocation. * Keep internal system architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and runbooks updated in Confluence. ## Related Videos - [An Applied Introduction to eBPF with Go](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1075-an-applied-introduction-to-ebpf-with-go) - [Innovating Developer Tools with AI: Insights from GitHub Next](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1268-innovating-developer-tools-with-ai-insights-from-github-next) - [Docker Compose: Rediscovered](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1978-docker-compose-rediscovered) - [30 powerful AWS hacks in just 30 minutes: Boost your developer productivity](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1624-30-powerful-aws-hacks-in-just-30-minutes-boost-your-developer-productivity) - [Turning Container security up to 11 with Capabilities](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/718-turning-container-security-up-to-11-with-capabilities) - [Bringing AI Model Testing and Prompt Management to Your Codebase with GitHub Models](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1536-bringing-ai-model-testing-and-prompt-management-to-your-codebase-with-github-models) ## Related Articles - [What Are The Top Skills Required For Azure Developers?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/77-what-are-the-top-skills-required-for-azure-developers) - [7 Cloud Computing Trends Coming in 2025 for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/412-7-cloud-computing-trends-coming-in-2025-for-developers) - [Highest Paying Tech Companies for Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/220-highest-paying-tech-companies-for-developers) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Best Paying Jobs in Technology](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/256-best-paying-jobs-in-technology)
