## About the Role

* Must have experience supporting multiple operating systems, such as Linux, UNIX and/or Windows environments.
 * Experience with virtualization (to include VMware specifically)
 * Some scripting experience
 * IT troubleshooting experience
 * Interest/desire in learning new skills/technologies

Desired Skills:

 * Familiarity with networking concepts, or a background in network administration is a plus
 * Storage-Netapp/EMC
 * NiFi
 * Ability to create/write scripts and modify existing scripts - bash, perl, shell, python, etc.
 * Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification
 * Experience working in a customer service/Tier 1/Tier 2 environment
 * Dataflow experience

Required Education / Certifications:

 * Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience as a System Administrator without a degree.

## Description

DCCA is looking for TS/SCI w/Polygraph cleared Junior to Mid-Level Systems Administrators with Linux and Windows experience! We have multiple positions open in the Fort Meade/Annapolis Junction area.

 * Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
 * Manage IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
 * Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
 * Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
 * Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
 * Configure and manage Linux, UNIX and Windows operating systems and install/load operating system software, troubleshooting, maintain integrity and configure network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
 * Optimize system operations and resources utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning
 * Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems
