## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
 * 3+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or production environments.
 * Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
 * Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials.
 * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
 * Ability to work collaboratively across teams while maintaining independent ownership of design responsibilities.

## Description

Konik is partnering with a well-respected manufacturing and engineering firm seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and manufacturing of industrial systems and components. This role combines hands-on engineering with collaboration across production, R&D, and project management teams to ensure designs are feasible, optimized, and aligned with company standards.
Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities

 * Develop and refine mechanical designs for production components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with design specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
 * Create detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation to support manufacturing and quality assurance.
 * Collaborate with production and project teams to troubleshoot design issues, resolve technical challenges, and implement improvements.
 * Assist in prototyping, testing, and validation of components to ensure reliability, performance, and manufacturability.
 * Support cost analysis, process optimization, and design standardization initiatives.
 * Maintain accurate engineering documentation and change management records.
