It searches codebases, edits real files, runs checks and tests, and prepares work for review; all from the desktop app, CLI, or cloud. Remy is built to produce real, working code changes rather than mockups, with a focus on lower context cost, faster task startup, and support for multiple frontier models (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Kimi, DeepSeek, GLM)., We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to sit at the intersection of engineering and customer success for Remy. You will work directly with customer engineering teams to understand their workflows, integrate and configure the product, troubleshoot real issues in their environment, and turn what you learn into product feedback for our engineering team. This is a hands-on, technical role for someone who wants to build alongside customers, not just support them after the fact. What You'll Do * Partner directly with engineering teams to onboard and integrate Remy into their codebases and workflows * Diagnose and resolve technical issues arising from real customer environments, from repo-specific edge cases to CI/test integration problems * Build custom scripts, configs, and lightweight tooling to help specific customers get more value out of Remy, faster * Act as the technical voice of the customer, feeding real usage patterns, blockers, and feature requests back to the product and engineering teams * Run hands-on technical demos and proof-of-concepts for prospective customers evaluating Remy * Help shape best practices and playbooks for how new customers should roll Remy out across their teams ## Related Videos - [ Evaluating AI models for code comprehension](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1462-evaluating-ai-models-for-code-comprehension) - [AI Pair Programming with GitHub Copilot at SAP: Looking Back, Looking Forward!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1546-ai-pair-programming-with-github-copilot-at-sap-looking-back-looking-forward) - [Building Reliable Serverless Applications with AWS CDK and Testing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/812-building-reliable-serverless-applications-with-aws-cdk-and-testing) - [The Intent Engineer: Closing the Gap Between Business & Engineering - Manuel Klein](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1855-the-intent-engineer-closing-the-gap-between-business-engineering-manuel-klein) - [Streaming AI Responses in Real-Time with SSE in Next.js & NestJS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1630-streaming-ai-responses-in-real-time-with-sse-in-next-js-nestjs) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) ## Related Articles - [Why Attend a Developer Event in 2026?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/688-why-attend-a-developer-event-in-2026) - [Everything a Developer Needs to Know About MCP with Neo4j](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/604-everything-a-developer-needs-to-know-about-mcp-with-neo4j) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers) - [Dev Digest 132 - Binging WADFlix?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/473-dev-digest-132-binging-wadflix) - [How We Built a Worry-Free System That Runs for 10+ Years – And What We’d Do Again](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/751-how-we-built-a-worry-free-system-that-runs-for-10-years-and-what-we-d-do-again)
