What You Will Be Doing As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, building, and evolving the applications that power the Hub platform. You'll work across the full technology stack, solve complex technical problems, and help raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design, high-quality code, and mentorship. You will: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native applications across frontend and backend technologies. * Own the technical implementation of complex features from design through production deployment. * Partner with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to translate business needs into intuitive, reliable software solutions. * Design and implement RESTful APIs and scalable backend services. * Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code with a focus on performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability. * Champion engineering best practices including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and operational excellence. * Contribute to architectural decisions and help evolve the technical direction of the team's applications and services. * Troubleshoot production issues, improve application observability, and proactively address technical debt. * Mentor engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and collaborative problem solving. * Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering practices to continuously improve developer productivity and product quality. * Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering efficiency, code quality, and software delivery. ## Related Videos - [Stop using Node.js like in 2020!
